Discussion in the context of the film "Trained to See – Three Women and the War", dir. Luzia Schmid >>

For the first time, women were allowed to professionally document warfare during World War II. Their accounts of bombed German cities, concentration camps or visits to Hitler's abandoned apartment broadened the perspective, developed the power and depth of the message, and above all went beyond the reality created by men for men. Luzia Schmid returned to the history of women's journey to the front, such as Martha Gellhorn, Margret Bourke-White or Lee Miller in the film "Trained to See – Three Women and the War".
